Happy Friday! It’s that time again. I’ve got a few silly and a few important offerings for you today. Take what works and run!
1 – Porcupine Tastes His First Pumpkin, And Can’t Contain His Excitement Bet you didn’t think you would want to watch a video of a porcupine eating a pumpkin. But you will. You probably didn’t realize that porcupines could talk too… Get ready for cuteness.
2 – Seven Things I Did To Reboot My Life Even if you don’t need a reboot or you just need to tweak a few things, this will speak to you. Actor Will Wheaton talks about some of the simple things that have been holding him back and the positive impact of making these changes. Frankly, we all can agree that we need better sleep.
3 – How to Turn a Bad Day Around Who doesn’t have the occasional bad day? And who doesn’t want to change that feeling before it goes too far? Sometimes platitudes can make me a little cranky but most of the time hearing that it’s just one day makes things a lot better!
4- T.S. Eliot Reads “The Naming of Cats,” 1947 I loved these verses in college and wish I had Mr. Eliot himself to read them to me while I was huddled in bed poring over them. Along with this delightful recording are the illustrations by the haunting Edward Gorey. My crazy roommate had this edition on her desk (along with a poster of Mr. Gorey’s alphabet that haunted me for years.) and I loved flipping through it. Here’s to all the cat lovers out there!
5 – People Are Tweeting Their Most Awkward Moments And It Is Cringingly Hilarious Ever wish the airport agent a good trip too?! Offer the question of your most embarrassing moments up to the world via the internet and prepare yourself for hilarity. I laughed a little too long at the polio one…
Have a great weekend everyone!
