Only two more sleeps until we wake for the grand finale of this holiday season. It’s chilly and gray and rainy here in New York City as we rush around gathering our last-minute goodies. The crowds and the craziness are only abated by all of the gorgeous decorations on nearly every doorway and storefront. Trees everywhere, one taller than the next! Let’s take a tour, shall we?!
Midtown Manhattan is the most crowded with our “beloved” tourists packing the most popular spots in hopes of getting a glimpse and a snapshot to bring home.
The always-bustling Grand Central Terminal is especially aglow with the lights of the season.
And the windows! Lord and Taylor must have been inspired by Harry Potter this year with its magical books, fairies under glass and moving paintings!
Downtown is not to be outshown. Each neighborhood boasts its own tree and merriment!
And way down town we go to the edge of Manhattan!
Stay tuned for tomorrow when we go to MY neighborhood, Carnegie Hill, for a gorgeous display for the holidays! Merry, merry!
